The Bothy Devon
A converted North Devon barn that takes its own bookings: live availability, priced quotes and deposits paid online.
The brief
The Bothy had a handsome static site and a booking process that ran on email and a spreadsheet. Every enquiry meant checking dates by hand, working out a price and chasing a deposit.
The build
A Laravel booking platform: a live availability calendar, seasonal rates and quotes worked out on the page, and deposit checkout through Stripe on a dedicated payments queue. The owners manage bookings, blocked dates, rates and every word of the site from a Filament admin panel.
The result
Guests book and pay in one sitting, the owners see every booking in one calendar, and the site is built as a template we can stand up for the next guest house in days rather than weeks.
