A deposit starts the build, or the setup fee on a pay-monthly package. Your changes go in as we go.

The site moves to your own domain. The care plan starts that day, and the rest of the build is due.

Questions about prices
- What is in the build fee?
- Everything it takes to get the site live: working out what it has to do, the design, the build, moving your content across, setting up the admin panel so you can change things yourself, and the search basics such as titles, a sitemap and fast pages. The quote lists each part as a line, so you can see what you are paying for.
- How do I pay for the build?
- Nothing is due for the demo. When you accept the quote in your client account, a deposit starts the build, and the rest is due when the site goes live. The care plan starts on the day the site goes live, not before.
- What is not included?
- Writing your words from scratch, photography and video, unless the quote says so. I work from what you already have, and I can recommend people for the rest.
- Can I leave, and what do I take with me?
- Yes. A care plan runs month to month with one month of notice. When you leave you get a handover pack: your content and files, your domain (always registered in your name), your email, and the code for your site, with a licence to keep running it anywhere.
- Can I pay monthly instead?
- Yes. A pay-monthly package spreads the build over twelve months: a setup fee to start, then one monthly fee that covers the build, the hosting and the care. Nothing more is due for the build.
- What happens after the twelve months?
- The site is yours, paid for. It moves onto a care plan at the published price, or you take the handover pack and leave. There is no penalty either way.
- Do your prices include VAT?
- The prices on this page are what you pay. There is no VAT to add on top.
